Bend 2 pocket workshop

Bend 2 pocket workshop is a browser workspace for writing, checking and running Bend 2 programs without installing a compiler. It combines an editor, proof-hole goals, examples, the language guide and compiler output in one page. Its phone-oriented interface also provides keys for symbols that are awkward to type on a touch keyboard.

First-use check, October 30, 2026: Built with Bend tried the hosted workshop at 390 px and 1440 px. The page identified Bend 2.0.39, commit d30d7dd. A small program returned 42, a String where U32 was required produced a type error, an unfinished definition showed an open goal, and the bundled x + 0 proof example checked. These are bounded browser observations, not a full test suite or a real-phone certification.

The repository documents JavaScript, JS-module, C and BendTT output, plus optional assistant and agent features. Those features were not exercised in this check. Running JavaScript in the page uses one core; it does not establish native or GPU performance. The page cannot run the Lean kernel, so its checker verdict is not the CLI's stronger --verdict check. Proof guarantees remain limited to the laws and trusted checking boundary.

No AI key was needed for the checked editing and example path. AI-provider calls, hub imports and Git operations are separate, user-triggered features; this check did not enable them.
